👋Farewell to VoyagerPlus CRM
As part of our transition to the Voyager 8 version of Senior CRM, we kept the VoyagerPlus version available temporarily while we worked through the initial adjustments. Now that Voyager 8 has been in use for six months, we are ready to officially retire the previous platform.
Beginning May 1st, 2026, VoyagerPlus CRM will be removed from the YardiOne menu options. Access will be limited to Regional Sales Directors who may still need the program for certain bulk functions.
If you are currently using VoyagerPlus CRM for a specific purpose, please contact HelpDesk@bvsl.net so we can assist in identifying or transitioning that functionality to Voyager 8 CRM.
🤖Introducing The Virtuoso AI Chatbot in CRM!
In mid-February, we enabled a new AI chatbot in CRM as part of a beta release. What does that mean? It means Yardi has provided early access to a feature that is not yet widely available, allowing us to test its functionality and share feedback.
One of the benefits of this tool is the ability to submit feedback directly within the chatbot.
To try it out, click the Virtuoso icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your CRM screen. For instructions on how to provide feedback, click here.
For additional details on other Virtuoso AI features, please refer to the Other Features section at the end of this document.
📆Coming Soon: Leasing Best Practice Sessions
In early April, all communities will be fully using Voyager 8 CRM for leasing. In the second half of April, we will be hosting a series of Leasing Best Practice Sessions for Sales teams, BODs, and EDs. These sessions are designed to review recommended workflows and help ensure teams are getting the most out of the system.
You will receive multiple invitations, but you only need to accept and attend one session. During each session, we will review recommended processes for:
Managing Co-Occupants and Shared Contacts
Move-In Checklist Best Practices
Payer Selection in Profiles and Quote Sheets
Physical vs. Financial Move-In Date Reminders
Meeting invitations will be sent by Carol Downey. Please keep an eye out for an invite, and we look forward to connecting with you next month.
👩🏫Paid Referral Sources
Please ensure you are following the proper process for entering Paid Referral Sources. The systems team is in the process of cleaning up duplicate paid referral source entries. To keep our data clean, the regional sales team is asking that each community follow the same process for logging this source type. Long story short:
Enter the Paid Referral Source Company as the Primary Source. Ensure you are using the Source, not the Referral entry.
Indicate individual contacts as the Secondary Source. These can be Referral entries.
CLICK HERE for a more detailed step-by-step guide for indicating Paid Referral Sources
And don’t worry about updating any existing prospects. Just use the above method going forward 😊
If you have any additional questions, please contact your Regional Director of Sales.
🏘New York Apartment Configuration Update – April 6th
On April 6th, the apartment capacity configuration will be updated for Lake Tappan, Sayville, and Tarrytown in preparation for the RentCafe Leasing launch on April 8th and 9th. Details have been shared with the front office team at these three communities via an email sent on March 24th.

Dashboard Updates
There are now three separate buttons for Prospects, Residents, and Referrals on the center tile of the Sales Counselor Dashboard
On the same Sales Counselor Dashboard, there is now a new tile called Community Summary which replaces the Calendar widget. The Community Summary now provides a better snapshot of your community. KPIs include Present Occupancy, Future Residents, Waitlisted Residents, Past Due Activities, and more!

Multiple Calendar Enhancements (some released earlier due to your feedback during Innovation Hub!)
Additional filtering based off Lead Status, Activity Status, Activity Type, Activity Priority and Prospect Status
Ability to change the activity without leaving the Calendar Dashboard
Activities are now color-coded ♥🧡💛💚💙💜
New AI Generated Prospect Summary on the Prospect Overview Tab!
On the overview tab of a Prospect or Future Resident, there is a new tile powered by Virtuoso that provides a summary of this prospect. This summary is generated by looking over all the activities, activity notes, phone calls, texts, and emails. This will summarize their care needs, budget, interest, and next steps.
